Smithsonian Jet-Works

Build a working jet engine model, then wire it to a battery box and power it up. You control the thrust and turbine speed with battery-operated moving parts and lights. A color STEM poster defines basic engine terms, explains how a jet engine works, and illustrates inlet, compression, combustion, and exhaust.
